Medium: Relief Print (Printmaking) on white BFK paper

I made this piece by carving the image onto a wood panel and stamping the blue ink; then I carved more and stamped the yellow ink; then I carved the rest of the block before stamping the black ink. Because I continually carved, there is no way to make future editions of this print. Originally an edition of six, three have already been sold, and now I make the remaining three available to you.

The image is based on my favorite dog, my friend’s blue heeler. Who doesn’t love a good pet portrait? Each print is signed, titled, and editioned by yours truly. I recommend displaying it in a frame of your choice or hanging it with alligator clips.

Some of the packing materials used to ship this print are specialized, including the corner protectors and acid-free tissue paper. The cost of these materials is accounted for in the price of the item.
